One of the most versatile contemporary singers in the
Indian film music industry, Sunidhi Chauhan has been singing since age
4, and shot to fame with the song 'Ruki Ruki' from the film Mast. In a
career spanning more than 15 years, Sunidhi has sung over 500 songs in
various Indian languages for over 100 films and also released one solo
album. For her outstanding contribution to the Indian music scene,
Sunidhi has received 14 nominations at the Filmfare Awards, winning
awards on two occasions, and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music
Talent. She also has to her credit two Star Screen Awards, two IIFA
Awards and one Zee Cine Award. On MTV Unplugged, Sunidhi sings a
motley collection of some of her most popular numbers from over the
years, songs that have been rendered classics by fans universally.
Throughout her illustrious career she's lent her voice to some of the
most popular Bollywood faces, and this is her time to take centre stage!
