Featured on the soundtrack of Nagesh Kukunoor's film Hyderabad Blues 2, 'Mora Saiyaan' is a soft, acoustic love ballad about a man sick with yearning for his estranged lover. On the MTV Unplugged version, a solo violin section provides the underlay to a piano accompaniment backed by a choir for harmonies. Shafqat's soulful voice lends the song an air of aching nostalgia.
